We are a Team
“If
you get caught up is things over which you have no control, it will adversely affect those things over which you
have control.”
· Let your mom help you….she wants you to be wonderful and is trying to help.
· Help your teammates….it is a group effort.
· Discipline
yourself so others don’t have to….be on time & do everything you know you should.
· Accept
corrections as a favor….remember that you do really want to know .
· Be quick but don’t hurry…. Quick changes are stressful,
keep your head and be prepared.
· Let the other dancers get caught up
in other peoples opinions….focus on you, don’t watch them rehearse.
· Being
prepare equals less stress….pack before Thursday.
· The
more concerned we become over the things we can’t control, the less we will do with the things we can control.
· Calm is always more effective than frantic.
· Every
decision, correction, change your coach makes is intended to better the team. Trust it. Remember that when
you don’t like the change or correction . It is all for the good of the team.
