Scholarship Program In partnership with The Angel Wings Foundation, Auburn Dance Academy's Xtreme students will have the honor of competing
for several dance-related scholarships. These scholarships will be awarded at the Xtreme Mock Competition awards ceremony.
Ronda Scott Memorial Scholarship Ronda Scott was a beloved member
of the ADA Family for 8 years. She was a seamstress, front desk manager, and dancer at ADA. She passed away from cancer 2
years ago. Ronda's passion for life was ever-growing. She took years of dance class as an adult and continually challenged
herself to become a better person. Love of dance, personal growth, and a passionate performance captures the spirit that Ronda
has left with all who knew her. The Ronda Scott Scholarship will be awarded to a soloist, duo or trio that shows an outstanding,
passionate, emotionally driven performance.
Requirements/details: - Dancer must be performing 4
or more total routines. - Dancer must be costumed. A temporary or trial costume is acceptable. -Hair and make up
must be finished and professional. -This award is based on the non- technical scores of each piece eligible. -This
scholarship is not to exceed $120.
Soloist Scholarship This
scholarship will be awarded to the highest scoring soloists in 3 different age divisions. There is an $80 scholarship for
each division. The scholarship funds will further the winning dancers education to pay towards additional private lessons.
Requirements/details: - Dancer must be costumed. A temporary or trial costume is acceptable. -Routine
must be complete. -Dancer may not restart their routine or perform the routine twice. -Age Divisions: Mini Division
ages 4-8, the Junior Division ages 9-12, and the Teen Division ages 13 and older.
Team
Unity Scholarship The Team Unity scholarship will be awarded to the highest scoring group in each age
category. A $150 scholarship will be awarded to each of the winning groups. $ 125 of the scholarship will be divided
between the dancers to help cover competition fees. The other $25 will be donated to a charity of the group's choice.
