- Holidayand June Production
Information
- New to ADA?
- If so, you are invited to attend an informal Q and A session with one of the owner of the studio. Check
the calendar for dates and times.
- Location of the show:
Auburn Performing Arts Center.
- All
cast rehearsals/ extra rehearsals
- In the month of December and June ADA call
2-3 all cast rehearsals. There is a $2.00 per child/ per class charge.
- Parent volunteers
- Parent volunteers are needed for all Pre Ballet/Tap Classes, & Levels one through three.
- Volunteers
must be present for both dress rehearsal and the production.
- You will be able to watch your dancer
perform from the stage wings.
- All volunteers will receive one complimentary production ticket.
- Parent volunteer meeting
is scheduled for the month of November and June. Please attend to receive your complimentary ticket.
- Ticket
information
- Ticket pre- sale day is approximately 3-8 week prior to the show.Ticket day
is on Saturdays.
- Please do not line up before 6am.
- Staff will purchase tickets the Thursday before ticket day. A section
of seats will not be available for purchase by staff.
- There is reserved seating with a TBA ticket limit per show.
- Tickets
are $13 on pre-sale day and are $15 there after.
- There are no returns or exchanges. No exceptions.
- You
must have ticket to re-enter theater.
- Children over the age of 5 must have their own seat. Children 5 and under may
sit on the lap of a parent for free.
- Cash and check only on pre sale ticket day.
- Dress/ tech rehearsal
- Drop off
your dancer with the dressing room manager at their scheduled check in time.
- Only authorized personal will
be permitted in the dressing rooms.
- Have your dancer dressed in costume with make up and hair complete when you
arrive.
- Dress rehearsal is closed to all observers including parents.
- Please be punctual.
Child pick up times are approximate.
- Showtime
- Showtime is at 7:00pm
- All dancers should arrive @
6:15pm and report to the dressing room manager at the door of the main dressing room.
- Please have dancers
use the restroom before they check-in.
- Pre-ballet tap classes
- Parents
may drop off their dancer at 6:45pm. The children will be escorted to their special pre–dance room.
- You
may pick up your dancer at intermission in the main dressing rooms BACK DOOR. They may watch the show sitting
on your lap. They do not need a ticket.
- Pre-Ballet/ Tap students do not participate in curtain call.
- Production
policy
- No flash photography in either show. No video cameras in the June show.
- No
food or beverages inside the theater.
- All students level 1-7 must stay backstage in designated areas (there will be
a live feed TV to view the show).
- Production services
- "Message Hearts" are a way to get your message to your dancer through
the ADA production program.
- You may order a DVD of the June show ($40.00)
- A Professional Photographer is provided
to take individual and class pictures of your dancer.
- Flowers are for sale at the show.

- Grooming Instructions for the show and
related events. Such as, picture week, dress rehearsal , and the productions
- No
underwear or jewelry
- No fingernail polish or toenail polish
- Stage make-up
- Foundation
- Powder
- Blush
- Gray eye shadow
- Black eyeliner
- Black mascara
- Dark Red lipstick
- Pre
Dance students may lighten makeup as needed.
- Hair
- With the exception
of hip hop dancers and characters, hair should be parted on the right and slicked into a bun on the back of
the head (not the top). Secure with a black hair net and bobby pins. Please no extra hair pieces or bun covers.
- Hip Hop Dancers may wear their hair in any style. Please think about quick changes.
A bun is acceptable for hip hop hair. You may want to get a hair extension piece in order to change hair quickly.
- Hair
instructional demonstrations will be given prior to picture week for pre- level 2 dance classes.
- Show
attire
- Auburn Dance Academy dancers use Bloch brand tights.
ADA
sell’s Bloch brand for your convenience
- You
may purchase the following products from the ADA Dancewear Boutique for use at the show.
- BODY GLITTER: Body
glitter is a great way to stand out on stage.

- RHINESTONED
FOOT UNDEZ: Apply pack of Swarovski Crystal
Rhinestones for your foot undez.
- HAIR JEWELS: Add
three rhinestones to your part for a nice touch.
- Picture Week
- Located at Auburn Dance Academy.
- Class pictures will generally take place during regular class
time at the end of May or the beginning of June.
- A specific schedule is distributed at a later time.
- Please
arrive dressed and ready 5-10 minutes before the listed time. Please wear stage make-up and hair.
- During picture week,
each class rehearses and is pictured.
- Saturday students and Xtreme routines are scheduled throughout the week.
- Your teacher will provide 2 or 3 poses you can choose from,
or you can create one of your own.
- If you do not purchase pictures, please get your child’s picture taken
with the group.
- Xtreme members and characters with solo and duo’s: Please sign up at the front counter for
a designated time if you want your solo or duo picture taken. You choreographer may or may not be present for your picture.
- Wear
your full warm-up and white tennis shoe for the Xtreme Team picture.
- If your child is not participating in
the production,we recommend that you do not attend picture day.
- Parents should accompany their dancers to choose
picture packages.
- You must order and pre-pay your packages before your photos are taken.
- Credit cards are accepted.
- Pictures
are delivered to the studio in 6-8wks after picture week.
