Through dance, Auburn Dance Academy builds confidence,
character, and a strong work ethic that young people will carry with them for the
rest of their lives. We provide a place where our
students can learn, create, and express themselves in a safe, supportive environment.
We don't just develop good dancers, but we dedicate
ourselves to develop good quality people.
My daughter began taking
dance at 3 years old. I became aware immediately that there were dance studios which focused on recreational dance and those
that taught competitive dance skills that could lead to a career in dance. I also soon came to understand that studios, like
businesses and schools, have a “culture”. I searched for a place where my daughter and eventually my son could
find outstanding instruction in a supportive (positive culture) atmosphere. Auburn Dance Academy is that place!
My children have grown in
their dance skills, performance skills and leadership skills since joining ADA. The owners care about students and parents!
This is a rare find in the dance world. I
have watched my daughter grow by leaps and bounds in her dance skills. Those “performance skills” enabled her
to experience exponential growth in her overall performance skills. She is now performing as a singer at a totally different
level because she has been taught to engage the audience, show her personality and interpret what she is singing. My son,
“the basketball player”, joined ADA a year ago and has grown so significantly in his skills in hip hop that he
can keep up with dancers that have been taking for several years!
